Blessed Thanksgiving and Native American prayer

I wish all of you a joyful, peaceful and safeThanksgiving Holiday. Remember how much all of us have to be grateful for. If you are ever feel your faith wavering, your spirit broken, write a gratitude list- of everything, everyone you feel grateful for in your life. Doing this will lift your spirit and open your heart. Gratitude is also the key to manifesting your heart’s desires. The more you feel grateful, the more you allow in all the miracles of the Universe. The Universe fully opens its arms and you deserve all that is good!

Remember to also give thanks to the animals, who nobly sacrifice themselves for us, to feed us, especially during the holiday season. So often we forget what they endure on this planet. Even though they are happy to be food for us, they do not like to be mistreated. Ask for Spirit, The Divine Creator, The Angels or Deity of your choosing to bless your food as well as the spirit of the animals.

A friend of mine shared this lovely Native American Thanksgiving Prayer and I want to share it with all of you as well. Thank you Linda Living Joy.

Thanksgiving

We return thanks to our mother, the Earth,
which sustains us.
We return thanks to the rivers and streams,
which supply us with water.
We return thanks to all herbs,
which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
We return thanks to the moon and stars,
which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.
We return thanks to the sun,
that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.
Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit,
in Whom is embodied all goodness,
and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.
