Often, during our darkest hours, there is a need for reflection and rest, represented in this card by the sea turtles, the calm ocean, and the crescent Moon. Then, suddenly, something magical can happen. The mermaid of the Four of Hearts who experiences sorrow and hopeless feelings opens a treasure chest in the Five of Hearts, and is offered a special Winged Heart. She gazes at a golden pentacle at the center of this heart, a symbolic star of initiation reflecting her cosmic guiding star in the heavens. The pentacle is the most widely revered of all esoteric symbols. Traditionally, its meaning refers to the perfection of humanity. The pentacle can act as a spiritual protector and is connected to the mystical significance of the number 5. The main quality inherent in this number is that of change. In this card, the mermaid is experiencing a change of heart: she is healing the wounds of the past. When change occurs in your life, especially at an emotional level, you may feel confused and vulnerable. The changes now happening in your life are guided and protected by the seal of the golden star residing at the center of your heart. This star is your Higher Self. Gratitude & Thanksgiving Blessings

Blessings everyone~
First of all a big Thank you, welcome & ((hugs)) to all new followers here! You are all amazing!
Wishing all of you and your loved ones a blessed Thanksgiving holiday (to those of you who celebrate it) There is much I am grateful for. Last month, one of my friends had to be rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery during Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. He was told he needed the surgery or risked death but the surgery could also have a death risk too. (Yikes) Brotha, and you know who you are =^_~= I'm so happy you are here with us! And am grateful for your friendship and transformation.

I am also including something from a previous post of mine..Lol please pardon the recycling..Its been rather crazy on my end here! ;)

Please remember to also give thanks to the animals, who nobly sacrifice themselves for us, to feed us, especially during the holiday season. So often we forget what they endure on this planet. Even though they are happy to be food for us, they do not like to be mistreated. Ask for Spirit, The Divine Creator, The Angels or Deity of your choosing to bless your food as well as the spirit of the animals.

A friend of mine shared this lovely Native American Thanksgiving Prayer and I want to share it with all of you as well.

All Hallows, Samhain Blessings

Greetings and Magickal blessings everyone!

This weekend and through the coming week there is much to celebrate. Starting today Oct 28^th thru November 2nd, is the celebration Isia, an Egyptian festival honoring the Goddess Isis and the search and recovery of her husband & brother Osiris. In cultures which use a lunar calendar, this time period is known as the 13^th sacred month, also sometimes called a BlueMoon. I do not know much about this mysterioso month but it is intriguing for sure. In literature it has been said that for some cultures this month may span a few days, and for others it may extend 29 holy days. Even though most have used a solar calendar system, this 13^th moon month still holds spiritual influence on the collective unconscious of us humans. There is a deep connection and symbolism between this time and Halloween/All Hallow’s Eve/Samhain, and the many other festivals around the world honoring the spirits of the dead. Deep in our being we feel a call to honor and reflect upon the year that has passed and all of those that have gone before us. It is a holy and magickal time, often considered beyond the laws of time and space, sometimes called “between worlds.”
The ancient Celtic festival of Samhain is celebrated on the 31st- Halloween/All Hallow’s Eve, from sundown to sunrise, over 24 hours. It is a time to celebrate the sacred new year. The veil is much thinner between worlds, making spirit communication and divination ideal. It is also a wonderful time to connect with the faerie realm & nature spirits. November 1st thru 2nd we have Day of the Dead in Mexico, Dia de los Muertos. People visit the cemeteries in costume, have parades in the street and make decorations with cookies or candies in skeleton shapes, carrying lanterns or candles, leaving offerings for the spirits of loved ones and ancestors. It is an uplifting event, a happy and festive time.

I started taking Spanish in elementary school, and remember feeling soo excited as we celebrated this in our classroom, making decorative skeletons and lanterns, eating breads or small cakes. ;)

On all Hallow’s Eve/Samhain thru All Soul’s Day, I choose to honor all my loved ones- including the furry and feathered- my ancestors and sister witches, pagans, druids, Templars- all those who suffered and died for what they believed in. (including past life ‘me’s, star & soul family, friends) J

Whatever one chooses to call this time, we are connecting with our ancient past and partaking in an event that has been celebrated for thousands of years or more! Honor this Holy time, extend gratitude and allow its Divine magick to escort you to new realms, bring you fresh insight and energy. Full Moon Release

Tonight’s month's full moon falls in watery Pisces. Full moons are powerful and magical. And with dreamy Pisces helping us to become aware of and release emotions, now is a great time to release anything that is coming to the surface and/or weighing heavy on the mind, heart and soul. ~I previously posted this a couple years ago, so please pardon the repeat for those of you whom have read this already. ;)

To do this, find a quiet space during the evening of the full moon. The full moon lasts for approx 2-3 days, so even if you don't do this on the first night of the full moon, all will be well.

It may help to set the mood by lighting a candle and/or putting on whatever music relaxes you. Write out everything on a piece of paper that is bothering you, concerning you, etc.. Or anything you would like to be free of.

Take your time thinking about this. Sometimes what I like to do is allow myself to feel the feelings, then visualize casting them into the paper, where it will be stored temporarily. It may help to visualize the emotions as an object and/or you may also focus in on this with your hands, guiding the energy into the paper. (It is best to do this only if you are going to burn the paper immediately afterwards though)

Next find a spot outdoors where it is safe to burn the paper. Take just a moment to surround yourself in a celestial bubble/egg shape of white light or colored light of your choice.

Set your fire up and before burning the paper in the fire, ask for angelic, heavenly or Divine assistance from deities/Goddesses of your choosing to help you completely let go and release what need be. (Put it in your own words) ;) Put the intention out there to purify and cleanse your energy and your heart and to be free from toxic emotions and for them to be replaced with peace.

Toss your paper into the flame. You may find it helps to add purifying herbs also such as sage, rosemary or cedar.

Then as you are watching this paper burn, take deep breaths, feel all that 'negative stuff' dissolve from your being. Allow it to be completely transmuted.

You may also call forth St. Germaine and angels of the Violet Flame to help you with this. Visualize the flames as violet and purifying all the energy you put out there.

Another idea is to visualize a flower of light in the flames (or any symbol you feel is best) after everything is burned away.

Once you feel you are done, and the paper is good and gone, turned to ash, thank the Divine helpers for their assistance. Allow the energy of the Moon to bathe you. Feel the moon's silvery light engulf you and let that energy fill your being as you take in more slow, deep breaths.

There are times I like to bring a selenite or moonstone crystal with me while I sit under the moon. Stay as long as you like outside. And if you feel a little frolick or dance coming on, then go for it! (Lol)
